Responsibilities:
Identifying and vetting prospective carriers to build a pipeline of service providers.
Gathering information from clients to determine their shipping needs.
Obtaining shipping quotes from carriers and passing them on to clients Booking freight service through carriers for clients Coordinating the pickup and drop off of shipments.
Monitoring the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged.
Updating customer management software to keep client records accurate.
Advising clients on potential supply chain issues Required Experience & Skills:
Sales experience required Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred, or experience in sales Proficient in Microsoft and Excel (pivot tables, reports) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitask Strong attention to detail Willing to be available after hours and weekends if needed Excellent problem-solving and time management skills Strong work ethic
